Carmit Kordov delivered her first Toastmasters’ speech, “The Days of Neeps and Tatties”. In her Ice Breaker, Carmit shared fond memories of her early years in Scotland, where neeps (turnips) and tatties (potatoes) are a traditional combination. She finds that being asked where you are from can be a difficult thing to answer because where you are really from is not necessarily the place where you were born, but the places where you have lived. |
